Stacy came to our house on January 20th. We called her Stacy Crenshaw for a few days but she is far too cute for that name. We tried a couple similar sounding names and then we came up with Alabama. She likes and comes to it when she is called. She is very good with the no command. She is somewhat of a pack-rat. One day we looked in her crate and she had all kind of goodies. She had not chewed anything, I guess she just liked them. When she came to us she was very tired from surgery and vetting. But now a week later she is full of vim and vigor. She is very good with cats, and has little or no interest in our 3.5 pound maltese. We are working on the house training. That is going OK. She has learned how to tell me she wants to go out when she is in her crate but that has not yet carried over to out of the crate. She is not afraid of the wood floors. We have taken her up and down carpeted stairs she does not do too bad. She interacts well with other neighborhood dogs. She has finally learned to relax and lay down--I never knew that could be so difficult but she has mastered laying on soft cushy doggy beds. I have not taken her to the dog run yet because of her surgery (spay) but she is good to go now everything has healed.
